Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the Process Excellence Council provides leadership and governance for the council.  The executive committee consists of PEC founding members Mr. Patrick Lucansky and Mr. Robert Burke.  The Leadership Panel of the Process Excellence Council consists of additional subject matter experts available to provide support and direction to visitors.

Mr. Patrick Lucansky, CMC, MBA, CLS, BB

Mr. Lucansky has held a variety of positions from Production Manager to Director of Operations to Small Business Ownership.  He has spent 10 years in private industry and 12 years in consulting.  Pat’s strengths are in Process Excellence, Lean Enterprise, Six Sigma, Lean Sigma, Supply Chain Management, Business Analysis and Pharmacovigilance. He has consulted and advised various industries from discrete parts manufacturing, to distributorships, to service organizations. He specializes in biotech’s, healthcare organizations, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Mr. Lucansky holds a BBA from the University of Iowa, an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology, a CMC from the Institute of Management Consultants. Pat is a Certified Lean Sensei, Six Sigma Black Belt and teaches at the BA/MBA level in the Chicago area.  He has authored over 20 internationally published articles and case studies and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and associations and conducts workshops on deployment of Process Excellence tools and techniques.

Mr. Robert Burke

Mr. Burke has over 25 years experience in many manufacturing environments, which include defense, automotive, pharmaceuticals, packaging goods, electronics, medical device, printed circuit boards, metal converting, railroad, and equipment manufacturers. Bob holds a B.S. in Business Administration, is certified CPIM from the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), and holds an ISO 9000 Assessor certificate. He has held positions ranging from, Materials Director, to Production and Inventory Control Manager, to Master Planner to Machinist. Bob is a certified Green Belt and Lean Sensei and provides training and implementation in areas of Lean Manufacturing, Pharmacovigilance, Supply Chain Management, Kaizen, and Vendor Managed Inventory. Mr. Burke has co-authored dozens of articles published in PharmaChem Magazine (An international Pharmaceutical Journal) on the subject of Lean operations and one article published in the AME's Target magazine on lean manufacturing.
